Morning, morning from the beautiful Basil. I‘ve spent the night with Giannis and Monika, a cute couple of musicians who hosted me and made me feel like home! After a massive breakfast, Giannis accompanied me to the bike shop for a quick service which was needed and showed me around the city, which I really fancy :)
Looking for the way using the mobile, since I hadn’t managed to use the gps yet, I took the quickest route for the next stop, the city of Oberkirch, 20 km away from Lucerne.
The up hills of Switcherland soon welcomed me, and the truth is that after the flat route in France, I didn’t like it! With the tongue out of my mouth, I started to cross the hills exhausted, always looking the counter to check the km left.
The landscape was lovely once again and cycling lane was everywhere, even next to large streets.
Keeping on in a good pace at the last part of the route, I soon arrived to my next destination, where the special family of Kosta and Giouli, who live in Switcherland, was waiting for me:)
83 km done, 1.382 left!
