Aruba: The Happy Island of Caribbean

Aruba is one of those places we have all heard of, but don’t know where to find on the map. What could be better than swimming through aqua-blue waters above the colourful coral reef on the exotic beaches of this 33km-long island in the Southern Caribbean Sea?
Due to its climate, Aruba attracts tourists all year round! How cool is to live in a place where you don’t need shoes or jackets because it is always warm? You don’t need to check the weather, because deep down you already know it is always beach weather!
Of course the excuse to travel to one more country and visit Aruba was beach tennis (the sport that I love just as much as I love travelling)! And the funny thing is that only my crazy mother was able to follow me on that trip. So, after spending a week in New York, it was such a unique opportunity to explore this stunning happy island!
Staying in a family run guesthouse in a lovely small villa right next to the beach, I realized that this trip is going to be a once in a lifetime! Having seen so many pictures of these crystal blue waters, the first thing that I wanted to do was go to the beach right away! The scenery was incredible..
Eagle beach has the most beautiful colors of water I have ever seen, the colors you see in pictures on the internet and you don’t believe that they are real. Some of the places to visit are also palm beach, baby beach and exploring the North-eastern coasts by 4×4, which we had the opportunity to do in the amazing setting!
Aruba is a happy island of the Caribbean where all the locals have a laid-back attitude and I love it! Beach parties and the general nightlife is something very special. Most of all the people absolutely know how to enjoy life! Another very important factor to me is, of course, the food! So I have to admit, there is an abundance of nice restaurants situated close to the beach filled with fresh seafood and succulant meat for the carnivors.
Although I was on vacation with my mother, and it was our first vacation together, it was really enjoyable! Aruba was one of my dream destinations, and it did not disappoint me! Needless to say, the role of beach tennis was critical, as I met a lot of remarkable friends that I will never forget.
That trip is forever etched in my mind as one of the greatest ever and I am 1000% sure that one day I will be back to play beach tennis and enjoy this beautiful destination once again!
